New Year - new resolutions

This year I will...

1. smile a lot.

2. work harder and when not working, staying away from computer. Separate the work hours and time off.

3. Go to bed earlier, wake up earlier.

4. Maybe even eat some meat. I am reading a memoir of Steve Jobs and the way he ate (his diet varied, but were always too extreme), well he died because of a cancer...

5. Do something extraordinary work wise.

6. most importantly admit my flaws. I have always been quite been light and happy; optimistic and always believed in building my own happiness. During the last year I noticed some very, very annoying feelings that are not typical of me at all. I was envious, hold grudges and blamed others for my troubles. Believe me, this is not easy to admit. But, because I have not been like this before, I think it is easy to switch back to old happy me.  :)

7. worry less. "Worrying is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do but it doesn't get you anywhere."

8. stop focusing on what I don’t want to happen. In stead I will focus on what I do want to happen.  "Positive thinking is at the forefront of every great success story.  If you awake every morning with the thought that something wonderful will happen in your life today, and you pay close attention, you’ll often find that you’re right."

9. be grateful.

10. spend less time on Facebook.
